Let's Go Stomping
For my Fantasy Planet series, I made all my giantess characters 20 times life size by setting the scale parameter to 2000%. In the short video, "The Nanomites" the Teeva character stomps on a tiny flying saucer. The flying saucer was scaled to 5% of its normal size, so that appears very small to Teeva and she mistakes it for a spider. Here, I will describe how the "stomping animation" was created.

We need at least three key frames to make the complete animation. My keyframes are shown below. Frame 1 is a normal walking pose. Open the drop down menu "figure=>Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure that the right leg is on and the left leg is off. This will allow us to move the left leg, but keep the right foot planted solidly on the ground as the giantess steps forward for the stomp.

Initially, you have only one keyframe, that is frame 1. Set the maximum number of frames to 40, then move the slider to frame 32. To set up frame 32, select the giantess figure and actor "hip" then translate the hip forward (+z direction). Frame 32 is now a keyframe. Move the hip forward until the body is nearly even with the target of the stomp. The right heel will be pulled off the ground, so select the hip and push it down until the heel is back on the ground. Some judgment is required here. Select the left thigh and bend it forward until the knee is above the saucer (which is the target of the stomp). Next, still in frame 32, select Teevas left shin and bend it down until the foot appears poised above the saucer for the stomp. Adjust the angle of the foot as desired. When you are satisfied, move to frame 40.

In frame 40, straighten the left thigh, shin, and foot to place the foot flat on the ground. You may need to tweak the hip position a little.

Here are your initial set of key frames are 1, 32, and 40. Play with the hip, thigh, shin, and foot angles until each frame looks about right.

You are done. Play the animation and you should see something like the following 12 fps flash animation:

You can easily tweak the timing by moving your key frames left or right along the time-line.

The version on the right is the original animation from "The Nanomites." The one on the left is the do-over for this tutorial. You can see they are slightly different.

That's all for now. Happy stomping to you!
