The Invictus Project is starting afresh with a new web hosting service. For the time being, we have abandoned video hosting sites such as youtube.com and dailymotion.com. I have several complaints about youtube, the primary one being the censorship. I have had three videos deleted during the time I used the service and was under an account warning for the last 12 months I was there.

Another complaint was the fact that youtube has become a bandwidth hog. It's great to increase the resolution and quality of the streaming videos, but the fact is even at standard definition an ordinary DSL connection often cannot keep up with the stream.

Dailymotion has started the annoying practice of running banner ads across the bottom of your video. I finally got fed up with that and decided it was simply too distracting. I rarely watch anything at Dailymotion any more.

Finally, the folks at Yahoo closed down geocities and forced me to upgrade to a more expensive "Small Business" web-site. So goodbye to yahoo.

I am in the process of rebuilding the web-site and this page is a place holder to let you know I am still around and will be back.
